A Reason for Biblical Study
The reality of Christian living is ongoing spiritual warfare, requiring knowledge of God’s Word to be successful in the struggle, understanding that success comes through God’s truths as revealed within the Scriptures, and acting on them by faith. The Scriptures express it this way, “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:8-9; NASB)

Reid Ashbaucher was born and lives in the United States. He holds a B.A. degree in Comprehensive Bible, an M.A. degree in Christian Theology, and has completed some post-graduate work toward a Ph.D. in Religious Studies. Reid has been a member of the “body of Christ” for over 62 years and writes books focused on Christian Theology and Christian Discipleship for the “body” from a biblicist perspective.
